Last week we were delighted to hold an event at our offices in Monkspath, in conjunction with Solihull Chamber of Commerce and Solihull Sustain to support Talent Match. The afternoon included cakes and drinks followed by presentations from June Mole, Alison Sheffield and a very special and inspirational presentation from Faiza Kauser, a young lady who talked about how Talent Match had helped her during troubled times.

Approximately 10 years ago we took on 2 young 18 year old’s as apprentices. This was a gamble, as both were serving community service orders, having crept down the wrong path, with little prospects and without any sort of qualifications. We put them under the wing of our senior craftsmen, who mentored them and provided site training and nurturing. They are both now senior flooring technicians, working on projects for companies like Aldi and HSBC. For us, by putting in time, effort and trust, they have rewarded us 10 fold.
