When Shustoke Barn, a well-loved wedding venue in Warwickshire, needed a rapid flooring overhaul before the peak of wedding season, they called on us at FLR Group.

To fit high-quality, durable floors in under a week.
With the venue expanding, two key areas needed new floors fast: the main commercial kitchen and a fridge room. Time was tight, and the solution had to be both practical and smart.
The Project
We opted for Polysafe Standard 2.5mm vinyl flooring by Polyflor in a stylish silver shade. Known for its robustness and slip resistance, it was the perfect match and safety flooring for the bustling kitchen environment.
On arrival, our team found the rooms ready and waiting, which let us get straight down to business. First up, a resin DPM coat to block any moisture, followed by a smoothing layer of latex. The final touch was the adhesive, rolling out the new floor right on schedule.

The job was wrapped up within the week, leaving Shustoke Barn’s kitchen areas refreshed and more than ready for the season's festivities. The new vinyl floors not only promise safety and endurance but also complement the venue's rustic aesthetic beautifully.
