The Challenge
Once again, we found ourselves at the Hippodrome, a beacon of culture in the centre of Birmingham. This project was an exciting opportunity to apply our expertise to two distinct areas over the course of a week. With seasoned team, including Mark and his snacks, we were ready to tackle the challenge head-on.
The project was split into two different spaces. The first, a dedicated rehearsal area, where creativity and artistic expression would take centre stage. The second, the Artists Lounge, envisioned as a sanctuary for relaxation and inspiration for the artists. Each room, unique in its purpose, demanded a thoughtful approach to both design and functionality.
The Flooring
For this transformation, we chose LG Hausys Harmony Parquet Luxury Vinyl Tiles, a decision driven by both aesthetics and durability. These tiles, known for their resilience, were ideal for the high-traffic demands of the Hippodrome. The intricate herringbone pattern required careful placement, but created a stunning finish.
Our partnership with the Hippodrome extends over a decade, a journey marked by various projects ranging from minor repairs to comprehensive renovations.
