Sports Floors
We recently had the opportunity to upgrade the sports hall at Langley School in Solihull. This involved replacing outdated flooring with a new, high-quality vinyl sports surface from Gerflor. Due to timings, this project was scheduled the bustling schedule of a school term.
The main hurdle was to remove the existing wood and vinyl flooring quickly and install the new surface without disrupting the school's daily activities. The goal was to create a safe and durable sports floor that will last for years to come.
The Project
Gerflor's vinyl sports flooring was selected for its superior quality and suitability for a high-impact sports setting. Our team worked fast, ensuring the project progressed smoothly and swiftly.
The old school flooring put up a tough fight and we had a limited time frame to get the project completed. To avoid delay, we brought in more of the team and had the old floor ripped up in two days.
From there, the rest of the project was a breeze and the team finished the floor on time.
To turn the grey vinyl flooring into a true sports floor, it needed line marking. We turned to Biddle to these finishing touches and the results speak for themselves.
