The Brief
Perspective Opticians, an independent practice relocating from Solihull to its new home in Knowle, were creating a fresh space to showcase their range of designer eyewear.
They wanted a durable, stylish flooring solution that would complement the modern decor and provide the perfect backdrop for the premium frames on display. That's where we came in. Our task was to deliver a hard-wearing finish that looked the part day in, day out, combining luxury vinyl tile (LVT) laid in a striking herringbone pattern, carpet tiles, and safety flooring to suit each area of the new premises.

We were asked to handle the flooring throughout the new premises. After discussing the options with the client, we specified a combination of finishes tailored to each area of the practice.
The centrepiece was the Plus Floor LVT in French Loft, laid in a striking herringbone pattern. This was an ideal choice for the space, providing a warm, refined finish that complements the modern decor and creates the perfect backdrop for the designer eyewear on display. Beyond its looks, luxury vinyl tile is highly durable and easy to maintain, standing up to the daily footfall of a busy retail environment while keeping its appearance for years to come. The herringbone layout adds a touch of elegance that elevates the whole space.
We also installed Burmatex Tivoli carpet tiles in St Lucia Night, along with Altro VM20 safety vinyl laid flat to provide a practical, slip-resistant finish where needed.
The project was carefully coordinated with other ongoing works to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our team led the job from start to finish, bringing years of experience and a keen eye for detail to make sure everything was completed to the highest standard. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, the job was finished on schedule.

The new flooring has really brought the practice to life.
